I am delighted to share with you this beautiful song by Sean K from Namibia and Cwesi Oteng from Ghana, production by Merck Foundation CEO, Senator Dr. Rasha Kelej, to share a strong message about women’s economic empowerment in Africa. Pan African Collaboration between North, West, and Southern Africa, very proud of it.

Merck Foundation in partnership with African First Ladies is advocating for the importance of women empowerment, education in general, and girls’ education in specific. Together we are supporting the education of 20 high-performing but unprivileged girls in many countries, through providing school fees, uniforms and books.

With the "Educating Linda" program we aim to enable girls to stay in school until they complete Senior High School, to enable the positive transformation of society.

If women are empowered, every day will truly be a Brighter Day!
